Rosie's Southport Sleepover

This weekend Rosie came to Southport for a sleepover at Nanna Michelle's, Grandad Tommy's and Uncle Colin's.

It started at about midday on Saturday when Anna and Allan arrived with Rosie from their house in Wrexham. Rosie came flying into the house full of beans and excitement. Apparently all the way over from Wrexham to Southport she was excited about the pylons!

When they all arrived Rosie gave us all a kiss and settled down to watch the Liverpool Game with Nanna Michelle and Grandad Tommy while Anna, Allan & Colin went into Southport town centre to do a few jobs.

About 4pm Allan and Anna headed home after Rosie gave them both a kiss and said goodbye.

Michelle, Tommy, Colin & Rosie headed to the Dolce Vita Italian Restaurant in Ainsdale Village at around 5:45pm for some food.

After a Garlic Bread between them all, Nanna Michelle had Duck, Grandad Tommy had Seabass, Uncle Colin had Veal in a tomato and garlic sauce and Rosie had Pizza and Chips.

After her main meal the owner of the Dolce Vita wife gave Rosie some books to colour in etc. while the adults finished eating their main courses

Then it was time for desserts. Grandad Tommy had Cheesecake, Uncle Colin had 3 scoops of ice cream and Rosie had a massive piece of chocolate cake

After eating this it was time to get a taxi home and get ready for bed.

This morning we all got out of bed and headed towards the Sands Pub just down the road from our house where there is a massive pond and an area where you can feed the ducks. Rosie has been here before with Nanna Michelle and loved it, however today it was a bit of a disaster because the wind was very strong and every time we tried chucking the ducks the bread the bread ended up on us. So after just a few minutes here we gave up and went to see Jean and Terry (Nanna Michelle's Mum and Dad) Rosie decided to go all shy and spent her whole time in Terry and Jean's sat on Nanna Michelle or Grandad Tommy's Laps facing them.

After our trip to Jean and Terry's we headed back to Nanna Michelle's and got ourselves ready to go and meet Anna and Allan and Grandad Eif and Gran Lynne in Costco in Liverpool.

On our way to Costco we had to pass through an area called Ince Woods which is basically a road that goes through a lot of trees and Rosie was extremely excited as she thought we were at Center Parcs. she was disappointed that we were not!

So we arrived at Costco and after walking around we payed and left and at this point we all said goodbye an Rosie's Sleepover at Nanna Michelle's was over as she was taken home back to Wrexham ready for another week in school.

We loved having you here Rosie and your welcome to come anytime
