Firstly, we have to say, we feel like channel 5 does Big Brother much better than channel 4. Everything seems like more effort has gone into it, from the house and plot twists to the graphics. It just feels more interesting and exciting. Don't get us wrong though, we LOVED Davina!
We thought we would go through this years contestants, and give our opinions so far!
The first person to enter the cbb house was Katie Hopkins!
Katie Hopkins is a weekly columnist for The Sun newspaper and appeared on The Apprentice. She is very well known for her controversial and down right disgusting opinions and comments, particularly on Twitter. Katie isn't very liked at all by the public but she doesn't seem to care one bit, in fact she appears to enjoy it.
Katie was greeted by VERY loud boos and chants, but she seemed to love evey second of it, spurring the crowd on and putting her hand to her ear trying to make them boo louder.
Katie hadn't been in the house for 2 minutes when "the magic mirror" on the wall granted her power and told her she would be able to view and judge the other housemates through the mirror as they entered the house from the other side of the wall. The other housemates would have no idea she was there. Once all the other housemates were in the house she had to pick the two she found the most boring and they would automatically be up for eviction.
We think that even though Katie is very opinionated and cruel, she will be very good entertainment. After all Big Brother would be rubbish without a villain and a few arguments!
The second person to enter the house was Patsy Kensit.
Patsy Kensit is a British actress, singer and model. She is well known for being in programmes such as Holby City and Emmerdale and films such as Lethal Weapon 2.
We like Patsy and think she will be a good contestant. She seems like a very strong character who won't take any hassle from any other contestant *cough Katie cough*
The third person to enter the house was Perez Hilton.
Perez Hilton is an American blogger, writer, columnist and tv personality. His blog, Perezhilton.com is known for posts covering gossip items about celebrities. He has had lots of negative attention due to his bad attitude and public feuds with other celebrities.
We feel like Perez will be entertaining to watch but for all the wrong reasons. He is basically like a male Katie Hopkins and we think they will either be best friends and bitch about everyone together or clash badly.. Let's hope it's the latter! FIGHT FIGHT FIGHT!!
The fourth person to enter the house was Ken Morley.
Ken is best known for being in Coronation Street. Ken claims that he "can go from nicey nicey to volatile in a second" and that his motto is "party hard"
We neither love or hate Ken at the moment. He just seems like a sweet guy who could end up being a little boring.. Unless of course he follows his motto and parties hard!
The fifth person to enter the house was Cami Li.
Cami Li is a tattoo model and the ex fiancé of TOWIES Kirk Norcross, last night she described the relationship as "a whirlwind f*****g nightmare".. Nice huh. She said she thinks she will keep herself busy in the house because there are boys in there.. Hmmm.
So far we don't like Cami Li. We had no idea who she was and just seems to be a vain Z lister.. Sorry love.
This sixth person to enter the house was Calum Best.
Calum is known for being the bad boy, slutty son or footballer George Best. He has been on lots of other reality TV shows. Apparently Calum liked tattooed ladies so it looks like him and Cami Li could get on very well.
We aren't fans of Calum Best either. He just seems like a tart with a big ego who fancies himself silly. Boo.
The seventh person to enter the house was Alicia Douvall.
Alicia is a model who is well known for her addiction to plastic surgery. She has had over 350 cosmetic procedures. Owwwchhhh! She is also known for her high profile relationships with huge celebrity names such as Simon Cowell and Dennis Rodman.
Although we don't really think Alicia is a "celebrity" we don't mind her at all. Having seen her on other things she seems like a nice person.
The eighth person to enter the house was Alexander O'Neal.
Alexander is a well known singer from the 80's. He said, "The Big Brother house is everything I'm not" ..."I don't like living with people who pass gas, I don't like to be asleep and then be woken up".. Well good luck the Alexander.. Think you're going to need it!
Although Alexander seems like a lovely person, we couldn't help but feel like he will be a bit boring and get a bit lost in the crowd. Let's hope he proves us wrong!
The ninth person to enter the house was Nadia Sawalha.
Nadia is a well known British actress and presenter and is currently on the panel of Loose Women. Nadia also famously won Celebrity Masterchef.
We feel like Nadia is another Patsy Kensit character. A lovely woman but very strong and won't take any messing!
The tenth person to enter the house was Jeremy Jackson.
Jeremy played David Hasselhoff's son on Baywatch And beat Leonardo DiCaprio for his role in the show.
He sported a faux fur coat paired with some red pants to represent Baywatch.. Cringe.
We weren't sure who Jeremy was because he was a child in Baywatch but he was a bit cringey.. And well, That's just not a good look is it?!
The eleventh person to enter the house was Kavana.
Kavana is a singer from the 90s. Well known for his song "I can make you feel good". In 2014, he became part of the supergroup 5th story, who are taking part in the 2nd series of The Big Reunion.
So far Kavana seems ok, we neither like or dislike him. He just seems like an ok guy who is looking for some publicity.
The twelfth person to enter the house was Michelle Visage.
Michelle Visage, is an American singer, radio and television personality, as well as an equal rights activist. She said "I was weaned off the teats of drag queens" so she is an expert and is in the house to represent "the gays, the drags and the misfits"... Okaaayyyy.
We haven't a clue who Michelle is, so haven't really got an opinion on her at the moment, other that she seemed a bit odd.
The thirteenth person to enter the house was Chloe Goodman.
Chloe is a model and in her words "the bitch from Ex On The beach" (an MTV reality show). The controversial actress admits to being a "bit of a flirt" and has posed as "Cameron Diaz's double" but said "it was only my bum - the one thing about me she didn't have".
We didn't have a clue who Chloe was as we have never watched Ex On The Beach. But first impressions aren't good. After all what is there really to like about a vain woman who is only famous for being a bitch on a reality show. Think her, Calum and Cami Li could get on well..
Last but certainly not least, the fourteenth person to enter the house was Keith Chegwin!
Cheggers is a very well known actor and tv presenter. He is known for shows such as Multi Coloured Swap Shop, Cheggers Plays Pop, Saturday Superstore and The Big Breakfast. He is loved for his ad lib style of presenting and it is well known that nobody has ever written a word for him.
WE LOVE CHEGGERS. CHEGGERS IS A LEGEND. CHEGGERS IS AN ICON. CHEGGERS TO WIN. That. Is. All!!
Once the celebrities were all in the house Katie Hopkins went back outside, greeted by more boos and chants and entered the house for the second time, the other celebs oblivious to the fact that she had already been in the house watching their every move. She chose Alexander O'Neal and Chloe Goodman as the 2 most boring housemates (although the other celebs were told that the public had made the decision! Crafty big bro!) and they are the first 2 housemates to be up for eviction.. We gave to say, we actually agree with her!!
We are very much forward to the rest of the series. Hope you are too!
