Mother's Day 2015

Happy Mother's Day

 

In a change to our usual Sunday Post today I want to celebrate the fact that today is Mother's Day.

 

Today, We "Hock's" got together to celebrate the Mums Amongst us

 

We had booked a table at The Acton Park Pub in Wrexham Which is part of the Embers Inns group.

 

 

A table was booked for 10 people, Michelle, Tommy, Colin, Anna, Allan, Rosie, Lynne, Eifion, Barbara and Meryl. You will recognise the first 8 names, However Barbara and Meryl are New names to this blog, Barbara is Lynne's mum and Meryl is Eifion's mum.

 

We arrived and were sat at a good sized table, which sometimes is not the case with large groups of people in a pub / restaurant so this was good. The menu was a special Mother's Day set menu

 

 

The food was average and the service not much better if we are honest. And we will definitely not be returning. Such a shame as inside the building is really nice and you were not on top of each other whilst eating.

 

Anna received some beautiful flowers and had the meal paid for her today from Rosie and got 2 cards, a beautiful handmade one made in school and another that daddy helped her pick. Michelle got given 2 elephant tea light holders and a card from Colin and a beautiful pink Orchid and a card made by Rosie from Allan and Anna. Lynne also got a handmade card made by Rosie and got a lovely set of oils and an oil burner from Anna and Allan.

The 3 Mums of the Hocks certainly are special and we all love them all to bits!
