D is for Days Out!
Hey everyone and welcome to the fourth instalment in this weekly series where we tell you what each letter means to the Hocks
As you can see we are up to the letter D and we have decided that it stands for Days Out because there's nothing The Hocks like more than a decent fun family day out!
We have been on many, Including the very popular +Chester Zoo which is so close to us all. Now, yes, its expensive, you wont find us arguing with that but it is extremely good value for money in our opinion. It is so big and there are so many animals to see and the enclosures they are in are simply stunning, especially the Elephants enclosure which is right at the entrance and massive, including a nice lake.
Other days out include to +Cheshire Oaks Designer Outlet for some nice food and good shopping and The Cheshire Ice Cream Farm, where you can get up close to animals and play on their indoor or outdoor adventure play areas.
Another plae we have been to is the +Welsh Mountain Zoo. This Zoo is on the road to Llandudno from Wrexham and is set amongst the Mountain landscape.
There really are many places you can go for a fun family day out around this country and there will be more about this on Wednesday when Anna will bring you part 1 of our new Sub Series of Hocks Holidays Where we will look at Summer Outings!
