Tinkerbell And The Legend Of The Neverbeast

Today Allan, Rosie and I took a trip to the cinema to see TinkerBell and the Legend of The NeverBeast. Rosie had been desperate to see it after seeing the trailer so we decided to take advantage of Allan having a rare day off and take her to see it together.

Too busy chomping on her popcorn to pose for a photo!

In the movie Tink and her friends encounter a strange, toothy, green-eyed beast! One night in Pixie Hollow, the sky is illuminated by a mysterious green light streaking across the sky. The following morning, a strange animal awakes deep in the dark underground where the comet landed. An ancient legend is about to come true! Mischievous, talented, tomboy animal fairy Fawn is quick to befriend this huge and fearsome-looking, green-eyed creature. TinkerBell and the other fairies aren't so sure about the scary newcomer, which is known as the NeverBeast. And the elite Scout Fairies decide to capture it before it causes any more damage. But Fawn is convinced that you should never judge a book by its cover. So she sets out to save her new friend.

We all thoroughly enjoyed the film and it was the first time Rosie has sat through all of a film in the cinema without losing interest, so it must have been good!! Alłan and I enjoyed it just as much as Rosie, it really is a film suitable for the whole family. It is heart warming, the fairies are just too cute and it teaches children a valuable lesson that you shouldn't judge a book by its cover. Another brilliant film from Disney, as always! We will definitely be buying it on DVD when it comes out!!

                                                            The NeverBeast

After the film we went to Frankie & Bennys for a late lunch/early dinner. After a pretty poor start to the meal with our starters being freezing cold, we sent them back and got fresh ones and the rest of the meal was fine, nothing amazing but not awful either, just ok. The restaurant was very busy and understaffed (I overheard one of the waitresses saying they had a few members of staff off sick) and the poor waitress was running around looking very stressed and upset so we just let it go. If she hadn't looked so stressed we might have asked for some money off the bill, but having both been waiting on staff in the past we just didn't have the heart, it can be seriously hard work!!

After the meal we went for a walk round a few shops then went to my Mum and Dad's (Lynne and Eifions) house and all sat and watched the lovely film "Up!" Before coming home to a very collldddddddd house, can't believe we forgot to put the heating on! Brrrrrrr!

All in all it was a very lovely day and it was so nice to have a day out just the 3 of us, it is extremely rare these days what with all the hours Allan spends working away from home!

Have you seen TinkerBell and the Legend of the NeverBeast? If so, did you enjoy it as much as we did?

Much Love
Anna
