As our +Center Parcs UK Hocks Holiday post is our most popular post by far, this week we have decided to tell you all about Center Parcs Europe!
Center Parcs Europe have lots of parks throughout Europe. These parks are located in Netherlands, France, Belgium and Germany. It is worth noting that Center Parcs Europe is not owned by the same company that owns Center Parcs UK. As Center Parcs Europe has SO many parks throughout Europe, we thought it would be too much to tell you about each one individually, so have decided to tell you about one park from each country. You can of course look into all the parks individually by visiting Center Parcs Europe website.
As always, we will be basing our holidays on a family of 4, consisting of 2 adults and 2 children, in August. Prices will not include travel to and from parks.
Netherlands
The first park we have decided to tell you about is Center Parcs De Kempervennen. De Kempervennen is located in Westerhoven, North Brabant, Netherlands.

Aqua Mundo is the Center Parcs Europe equivalent to the Center Parcs UK Subtropical Swimming Paradise. Each Aqua Mundo is each park is different. Center Parcs describe the Aqua Mundo in De Kempervennen like this "Snorkel, dive and go down the wild water rapids at amazing speeds in the one and only tropical swimming paradise The whirling current of the wild water rapids awaits all speed demons. PSV Stadium tour

Beauval has more than 4700 residents, who live on the African Savannah, in the Australia House and in the amazing aquariums. 350 young are born every year. The large amphitheatre, where a sensational bird show is presented, is a new attraction.

History comes to life here. A unique journey through time. The Château de Beauregard is especially famous for its Galerie des portraits. All four walls of this hall are covered with 327 portraits of historic figures who contributed to French history from the 14th to the 17th centuries. Don't miss: the amazing 40-hectare ornamental garden.
Château de Chambord castle trip
Life as a lord in France. This is a place where dreams come true. The Château de Chambord is the largest and possibly the best-known castle in the Loire region. It has 440 rooms, 365 turrets and 1036 windows. Work on the construction of the Château de Chambord began in 1519. Originally intended as temporary accommodation for hunting parties, it grew to become one of the largest castles in the Loire region. Apparently, even Leonardo da Vinci played a part in its design. The castle is listed as a World Heritage Site - and when you see it, you'll understand why.

Lommel Sahara
A desert-like landscape, around a clear blue lake bordered by forests of fir trees. It's the ideal spot for walkers and nature lovers. The arid and sandy landscape came about as a result of gases emanating from a former zinc factory located there. The lake is the result of sand mining. Forests were planted around the area to prevent further expansion.The Sahara is located next to the Kempen canal, which has an elegant bridge leading to the area. There are lots of walking and cycling routes.
Overpelt, the town of mills
With its four water mills along the picturesque river Dommel, two windmills and a mill museum, Overpelt is a true town of mills. One of the water mills is even the oldest one in Belgium, dating back to the eighth century.
The mill museum, that is also open to visitors, has been recently added behind the Sevensmolen windmill, and demonstrates how mills work as well as their usefulness.

Heide castle Iserhatsche
Iserhatsche - Uwe Schulz-Ebschbach's Heide castle in Bispingen is an extraordinary piece of art that attracts thousands of tourists every year. There, you can visit a hunting lodge, a baroque garden and a landscaped park. Enjoy a cup of coffee, cake or ice cream in the moorlands' forest house cafe, with views right across the fields. In January and February, the Heide kasteel Iserhatsche is open only on weekends.
Kart & Bowl Bispingen
Experience the speed of go-karts: bends, brakes and drifts. Thrills guaranteed. The indoor track gives you the impression that you are really in the Formula 1. Come relax and enjoy the peace and quiet of the Mediterranean bar and restaurant on the 1st floor. The outdoor kart track is unique.
