This week we have decided to focus on holidaying in the UK as we know not all people like going abroad! Today we are going to tell you all you need to know about the well known UK based holiday company Haven Holidays!
Haven have 35 holiday parks around the UK and mainly specialise in Caravan holidays, although some parks do offer Beach Houses, Chalets and apartments. Each Haven park is located near the seaside which is how they got their slogan "Britain's Favourite Seaside Holiday". Every Haven Park offers something different, which is why we have chosen one park from England, one park from Scotland and one park from Wales to tell you about (unfortunately, there are no parks in Ireland). We have decided to focus on the caravan accommodation as we believe that is what Haven is all about, and lets face it, some of the caravans you can get these days are more like bungalows anyway! Haven offer lots of different holiday lengths from 3 nights to 14 nights. We are going to focus on 3 nights (weekend), 4 nights (midweek) and 7 nights (week).
The first Haven Park we have chosen is Devon Cliffs in Devon (rated 4 out of 5 stars on TripAdvisor).
This park sits on a cliff above a beautiful blue flag awarded beach.
Devon Cliffs has lots of different grades of accommodation and have loads of different facilities including a huge pool complex with indoor pools, outdoor pools, slides and flumes, water sports, adventure golf, a beach, a climbing wall, sports court, ten pin bowling, kids clubs, evening entertainment, a restaurant, aerial adventure, Segway plus loads more!
Haven has a type of accommodation for everyone's budget! We have decided to show you the cheapest accommodation available, the medium priced accommodation available and the most expensive accommodation available.
Standard Caravan
The cheapest caravan available in Devon Cliffs is the Standard Caravan.
Haven say "Our Standard caravans are great value with two and three bedroom options available. They're lovely and homely with fully fitted kitchens and bathrooms for a comfortable family holiday that won't break the bank. And, as a little bonus, the family dog can join you in this accommodation too"

Motor Breakdown Insurance- £12.50 per vehicle.

> 24 hour roadside assistance - Cost of call out charges involved in providing roadside assistance and/or recovery following breakdown up to £250
> Nationwide recovery - Cost of towing the vehicle the vehicle and up to 8 occupants to your holiday Park or home> Emergency overnight accommodation - Up to £40 per guest per night
> Car hire - Cost of a hire car charges up to £1,000 where your holiday is interrupted pending completion of repairs
Personal Insurance Plan- £6.00 per break

Holiday Protection Plan- £16 for 5 nights or less or £24 for 6-9 nights
Holiday Protection Plan enables you to book your holiday with total peace of mind, leaving you free to relax and look forward to your holiday. Knowing that your holiday booking is financially protected should you fall ill or lose your job is priceless, and our Holiday Protection Plan covers your cancellation in the event that any members of your party are unable to travel due to:
• Redundancy • Sickness • Jury ServiceProof in the form of a Doctor’s Certificate, Employer’s or Court Notification will be required in writing by recorded delivery prior to your confirmed holiday start date. Being covered by our Holiday Protection Cancellation Plan and falling within the categories above, you will be entitled to a full refund of all monies paid subject to a cancellation charge of £50 per holiday home or £25 per pitch. If your cancellation occurs within 48 hours of your holiday start date, the refund will be limited to 30% of the total holiday cost.
Activity Pass- £34 for 6 pack or £60 for 12 pack
Your activity pass can be used towards lost of brilliant activities such as archery, climbing wall, fencing, Segway, adventure golf, learn2bike, learn2swim and lots, lots more!

Haven describe Seton Sands as "Our beautiful, mainly flat park is in the picture-perfect countryside close to Edinburgh. Cross the road at the bottom of the park and you'll arrive on a sand and rock pool beach. Head further afield and discover rugged terrain and a pristine golf course or two! Or make the most of our facilities. We're creating a new touring area* for 2015 - so roll up!"

All of the optional extras in Devon Cliffs are also available in Seton Sands (the holiday protection plan is slightly cheaper as the holiday is cheaper.). There are a few additional optional extras to choose from in Seton Sands including Towel Bale Hire consisting of five bath towels for £10 (again, you can take your own to keep costs down), DVD Player Hire for £15 and Portable Heater Hire for £13 (but you probably wouldn't need this in the height of summer anyway!).
You will have noticed that Seton Sands is a fair bit cheaper than Devon Cliffs but I do think that this reflects in the TripAdvisor ratings.
The third and final Haven Park we have chosen is Hafan Y Mor in North Wales (4 out of 5 stars on TripAdvisor).
Haven describe their Hafan Y Mor Park as "Looking for a bit more? We have action galore in our large, gently undulating park on the Llyn Peninsula. Think deserted beaches, wild flowers and the Snowdonia National Park. Inside our park we have so many fun activities, including Aerial Adventure! But with gardens, woodland walks and our own pebbly beach, you might choose to do – nothing at all!"

Hafan Y Mor has a never ending list of facilities including a very large indoor water park with slides and a wave machine, stunning views, restaurants, bars, starbucks, go karts, kids clubs, evening entertainment, adventure golf, roller blading, sports courts, an indoor sportsdrome, its own beach a boating lake and so much more! Knowing quite a few families that have visited Hafan Y Mor we can say we have heard nothing but fantastic things about it! Now for the accommodation in Hafan Y Mor!

Yes, it is the most expensive, however, this really is justified as there is so much more to do there. Plus we know people who have been there who say it is well worth the price.
