Hocks Summer Outings - Blackpool

Hey Everyone, Again a day late with this one sorry.

Just a quick reminder that this month will be a bit different because we are going to +Center Parcs UK but don't worry, we have a little treat planned for you while we are there! more on this soon!

Also we have this week launched our own +YouTube channel, Simply Search the You-tube Channels for The Hocks and our profile picture is this one!

A little hint for you as to what we might be doing during our stay at +Center Parcs UK is that we would suggest you subscribe to our YouTube channel for regular updates.

Another quick note is that unfortunately Anna couldn't do her special epilepsy blog post but hopes to do one sometime next week before we venture to Whinfell Forest.

So Back to Today's post in the latest of our Hocks Summer Outings and we are looking at a day out in Blackpool.

Who doesn't love Blackpool?  A hot summers day in one of the UK's best seaside towns!

So what is their to do? Well lets start with the obvious and +Blackpool Pleasure Beach

They have Thrill Rides, Family Rides and Nickelodeon Land

Prices for entry depend on what dates and Days you go and it is worth booking advance online as this saves alot of money compared to paying on arrival. There is also a pass that is around £6 for people who want to go in but not ride, so grandma and granddad can still come along and it wouldn't cost them much.

You can find out about all of the rides and ticket prices and opening times by visiting the Website

If theme parks are not your thing why not try the famous Sandcastle Water Park which is located right on the sea front

The Sandcastle is the largest Indoor Water-park in the UK featuring over 18 different attractions and Slides. It has Water Slides, a great wave machine, water chutes, fun pools, Food places, an arcade and a swim shop as well as much more!

You can find out more about the water-park and its prices on the Website

There is of course plenty of free things you can do too including a day on the beach!

Enjoy a stroll down the Prom, including the new sea wall

There is of course also +Blackpool Zoo that is well worth a visit

With a huge choice of animals and cafes on site it really is a great day out

Prices are cheaper again if you book them at least 7 days in advance on their Website

If you are going to blackpool and are planning on doing several things it might be worth considering a Blackpool Resort Pass

It costs £80 per person but gives you entry into 9 of the resorts biggest attractions, they are
