Summer Outings - Shows!


Hey Everyone! isn't it warm outside! This is Week 2 of our new Series looking at fun family things to do during the summer holidays which are fast approaching now!

This week we are going to look at different shows that the family could attend! 

So Lets start at the Southport Theater and Convention Center where on Thursday 23rd July at 3pm they are having a +DisneyFrozen Sing along


This will be a full screening of the popular Frozen Film, but it will have the lyrics on the big screen so everyone can Sing Along all the way through! The Screening will be hosted Live by a member of staff who will guide the Audience all the way through the interactive screening. They will show you how to utilise everything in your free bag of goodies, they will help you warm up those singing voices and will even show you some dance moves with the Singalong Princesses!

If its more of a ahow your after then you could always head to +VenueCymru01 in Llandudno where between July 21st and July 25th they are doing Annie


Set during the Great Depression in New York City in the 1930's, a brave little girl called Annie is forced to live a Miserable tormented life at an orphanage called Miss Hannigan's. Annie becomes determined to find her real parents but her luck changes when she is chosen to spend the Christmas with Oliver Warbuck, a famous billionaire in his residence. Will Miss Hannigan's plan to spoil Annie's search be successful? 

Featuring the classic songs Easy Street, i don't need anything but you and tomorrow and of course its the hard knock life you really don't want to miss this show!

None of those Rock your Boat? Then Maybe you could head to Edinburgh where on the 30th August at 3pm there is the Edinburgh International Festival Family Concert


This is an event sponsored by Virgin Money and is a fireworks concert that will paint a picture in the night sky over Edinburgh. It will use Music and Pyrotechnics as well as digital technology to create a Joyful and playful bridge between light and Live music.

A collaboration between the Scottish Chamber Orchestra and Chevalvert, who are a Parisian Technology company this event will allow families to see and hear music from the 2015 festival. All the music is played live and this is sure to be a great event, tickets cost between £5 and £15 plus fees.

So there are 3 different types of shows that you and your family could attend this summer, there are obviously alot more and a good place to look is +Ticketmaster and of course your local Theaters website!
