Hock's Summer Holidays - Alton Towers

 
 
 
Welcome to this weeks detailed look at a Holiday Destination. So far we have taken you on a cruise and taken you to the seaside with +Haven Holidays 
 
This Week its something completely different again as we look into Holidaying at +Alton Towers Resort.
 
 
Alton Towers Resort, Commonly just called Alton Towers is a Theme Park, Water Park and Hotel complex in Staffordshire in the UK. It is the flagship attraction for the Merlin group in the UK.
 
There are 3 ways you can stay at Alton Towers. They have their Alton Towers Hotel, The Splash Landings Hotel and the newest way to stay is in their Enchanted Village, which are lodges and treehouses in the woods.
 
 The Alton Towers hotel is themed around the incredible explorer Sir Algenon, who has made the Alton Towers Hotel his home. There are plenty of fun and quirky features to discover, including his amazing flying ship which has crash landed right in the middle of the Hotel.
 
 
The Splash Landings Hotel Offers a bright and tropical taste of the Caribbean, the sun shines every day in this crazy Caribbean themed hotel based in the Water Park
 
 
The Woodland Lodges and Treehouses are nestled deep within the forest within the Resort and offer a unique and special way to stay at the resort

Now, for the Pricing. Included in your price apart from Bed and Breakfast. you get Evening entertainment and free car parking, however, Tickets to the theme Park and Water Park do cost you extra. So for 4 nights starting on Monday 10th August for 2 Adults and 2 Kids These are the Prices
 
Alton Towers Hotel: £1,088.00
Splash Landings Hotel: £760.00
Woodland Lodge in the Enchanted Village: £980.00
Treehouse: £3,300.00
 
It is worth noting that the Treehouses Will only be available from April 18th of this year and so are brand new to the resort.
 
Now for the extras that are not included in your stay. These are;
 
2 Day Theme Park Ticket: £30 Per Person Regardless of Age
1 Day Waterpark Ticket: £12 Per Person Regardless of Age
Enchanted Forest Tree Top Quest - High Ropes: £20 Per Person
Enchanted Forest Tree Top Quest - Low Ropes: £16 Per Person
 
There are also a number of "Fast track" Tickets available, These allow you to "Jump the Queues" and are;
 
The Big Six: £35 Per Ticket
Adventurer: £13 Per Ticket
Young Explorer: £7 Per Ticket
Platinum: £95 Per Ticket 
Scream: £12 Per Ticket
Gold: £55 Per Ticket
Adrenalin: £14 Per Ticket
 
But that's not all, You can then picket from another long list of extras such as Balloons in your room, to having the Alton Towers Monopoly Board Game in your room and take home, all at additional costs. The Full list is in the pictures below.
